The goal of any good pain program should be geared toward improvement in function. In order to maintain this functional advantage, patients will need to work in a home exercise program. This exercise program is something that should be performed for the rest of their life. A home exercise plan of daily stretching, range of motion exercises, core strengthening, or aerobic activity can be taught in physical therapy or can be prescribed from our office.
