Dr. Irwin is an Arkansas Pain Management Physician that has been practicing Interventional Pain Management since 2008. He graduated with High Honors from the University of Florida with a degree in Microbiology. He then pursued a dual MD/MBA Degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida and graduated in 2003. Dr. Irwin went on to complete an Anesthesiology Residency in 2007 at the University of South Florida.  Dr. Irwin has been awarded the Best Pain Doctor in Arkansas 2016 and 2017 by AY magazine and is highly regarded as operating one of the most respected pain treatment centers in Arkansas.  Long-term pain relief is Dr. Irwin’s main goal for all of his patients.

Pain Fellowship Trained

In order to gain the most thorough knowledge a Pain Management Physician can obtain, he completed a Pain Medicine Fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. He has successfully taken and passed certification examinations in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine becoming one of a very small set of Pain Doctors to be dually Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. Dr. Irwin is the former Medical Director for the Mercy Pain Clinic and has over 9 years of experience in the Pain Management Treatment field of medicine as a Pain Specialist. After working at Mercy Hospital for many years, Dr. Irwin opened his pain treatment clinic in 2015 serving Rogers, Bella Vista, Fayetteville, Springdale, Siloam Springs, Eureka Springs, Bentonville, and the surrounding areas of Arkansas.

He is skilled in all facets of injection therapy and in medical management for pain management treatment. This allows him to individually tailor your treatment regimen.
Dr. Irwin was in private practice in Florida prior to moving to Northwest Arkansas in 2011. Over the past 6 years, he has developed a congenial working relationship with local referring doctors due to his diligent care of the patients with whom he has been entrusted. Whether you have chronic pain or acute pain, Dr. Irwin can help you find a solution. Dr. Irwin is regarded as one of the best pain doctors in Arkansas.

Dr. Irwin is the current Arkansas President of the state chapter of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP). He has given numerous outreach lectures in the NWA community and has been interviewed by local news stations as well.

Dr. Irwin lives in Rogers with his family of four. He enjoys time with his family, golf, and SEC sports.
